Thirumalai, a stern man with anger issues, owns a provision store in Karaikudi, while his son Krishna, who is studying poultry science, wrestles with his fathers temperament, his romantic feelings for his cousin Janani, and the longstanding family feud between Thirumalai and his in-laws, which eventually leads to reconciliation and a happy ending.
