Thriller Action
A young law student blindly enters into a pact with a man who offers to kill his stepfather, whom he feels is responsible for the accident that sent his mother into a coma. Detour is a 2016 English-language Thriller Action movie starring Tye Sheridan, Stephen Moyer, Emory Cohen, Bel Powley, John Lynch, Gbenga Akinnagbe and Loulou Taylor. Head Gear Films in association with Bankside Films, Kreo Films FZ, Dan Films, Newscope Films and Metrol Technology. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Julie Baines, Phil Hunt, Stephen Kelliher, Jason Newmark and Compton Ross. The motion picture is written and directed by Christopher Smith. Magnet Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Detour was released on 20th January 2017 and takes a screen time of 96 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $0 million. Cinematography was done by Christopher Ross and editing by Kristina Hetherington. The music was composed by Pablo Clements along with James Griffith and Toydrum.

Even the most derivative of those 90s neo noir programmers felt like they came from some underbelly of cinema.But Detour is just film school ish synthesis, right down to the cinematography midterm shot lit through venetian blinds and the anachronistic analog static on the motel room TVthe story of a young man who hates his stepdad so much that he stumbles right into an over complicated thriller set up that can only be watched once.
