The oncologist wife of a prominent child psychologist suspects her husband has an unhealthy scientific obsession with their child, unaware of what - or who - is really going on inside his head. Raising Cain is a 1992 American English-language Crime Drama motion picture starring John Lithgow, Lolita Davidovich, Steven Bauer, Frances Sternhagen, Gregg Henry, Tom Bower and Jim Johnson. Raising Cain was Produced by Gale Anne Hurd. The motion picture is written and directed by Brian De Palma. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Raising Cain was released on 7th August 1992 and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Raising Cain was made on a budget of $12 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $37 million. Cinematography was done by Stephen H. Burum and editing by Robert Dalva, Paul Hirsch and Bonnie Koehler. The music was composed by Pino Donaggio.
