A group of people trying to cross the border from Mexico into the United States encounter a man who has taken border patrol duties into his own racist hands. Desierto is a 2016 English-language Drama Thriller movie starring Gael Garc A Bernal, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Alondra Hidalgo, Diego Cata O, Gael García Bernal, Diego Cataño and Butch Mccain. Esperanto Kino in association with CG Cinema, Orange Studio, Itaca Films, Lava Bear Films and IM Global. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Alfonso Cuar N, Carlos Cuar N, Jon S Cuar N, Alex Garcia and Charles Gillibert. Desierto is written by Jonas Cuaron, Mateo Garcia and Jon S Cuar N and it is directed by Jonas Cuaron and Jon S Cuar N. STXfilms acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Desierto was released on 25th March 2016 in English and Spanish languages and takes a screen time of 88 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
