The Missing

A man named Samuel Jones tries to reconnect with his daughter Maggie, but they are forced to join forces to save Maggies kidnapped daughter and other young women from a group of Apache raiders, resulting in sacrifices and a triumphant return home. The Missing is a 2003 American English-language Adventure Thriller movie featuring Tommy Lee Jones, Cate Blanchett, Evan Rachel Wood, Jenna Boyd, Eric Schweig, Aaron Eckhart and Chris Talley. The movie is inspired from The Last Ride by Thomas Eidson. Columbia Pictures in association with Revolution Studios and Imagine Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ron Howard, Brian Grazer and Daniel Ostroff. The Missing is written by Stanley Caine, Janaki Sabesh, Thomas Eidson and Ken Kaufman and it is directed by Ron Howard. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The Missing was released on 26th November 2003 in English,Spanish and Apache languages and takes a screen time of 137 minutes. The Missing was made on a budget of $60 million and at the box office it grossed only $13 million. Cinematography was done by Salvatore Totino and editing by Daniel P. Hanley and Mike Hill. The music was composed by Academy Award Oscar winner James Horner.
