A leftist college student with anger issues falls in love with a state-level cricketer who was sexually assaulted by a South-Zone selector, leading to their separation but eventual reunion as true comrades. Dear Comrade is a 2019 Indian Telugu-language Drama Action motion picture featuring Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna, Shruti Ramachandran, Shruthi Ramachandran, Raj Arjun, Srikanth Iyengar and Md Azimul Islam Sheblu. Mythri Movie Makers in association with Big Ben Cinemas. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar, Mohan Cherukuri and Yash Rangineni. The movie is directed by Bharat Kamma. Big Ben Cinemas acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Dear Comrade was released on 16th July 2019 and takes a screen time of 170 minutes. Dear Comrade was made on a budget of ₹25 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹30 crore. Cinematography was done by Sujith Sarang and editing by Sreejith Sarang. The music was composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
