Big Ben Cinemas acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Dear Comrade was released on 26th July 2019 and takes a screen time of 170 minutes. Dear Comrade was made on a budget of ₹25 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹30 crore. Cinematography was done by Sujith Sarang and editing by Sreejith Sarang. The music was composed by Justin Prabhakaran.
