GA2 Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Allu Aravind and Bunny Vas. The motion picture is written and directed by Parasuram. Geetha Arts acquired the distribution rights for the film. Geetha Govindam was released on 16th August 2018 and takes a screen time of 142 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Geetha Govindam was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹130 crore. Cinematography was done by S. Manikandan and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. The music was composed by National Award winner Gopi Sundar along with Gopi Sunder. At the 2019 South Filmfare Awards It won 2 awards including: Best Actress (Critics) (Rashmika Mandanna) and Best Playback Singer - Male. At the 2019 It also won an award for Best Actor - Critics (Vijay Deverakonda).
