Rangeela

A story about two friends who aspire to work in the Indian film industry and fall in love with the same woman, but eventually, she realizes she loves only one of them. Varma Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jhamu Sughand and Ram Gopal Varma. Rangeela is written by Sanjay Chhel, Ram Gopal Varma and Neeraj Vora and it is directed by Ram Gopal Varma. National General Television Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the film. Rangeela was released on 8th September 1995 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Rangeela was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹20 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ram Gopal Varma. Cinematography was done by W. B. Rao and editing by Eeshwar Nivas. The music was composed by Ar Rahman along with A. R. Rahman. At the 1996 Filmfare Awards It won 3 awards including: Best Story, Best Choreography and Best Costume Design.
