Two men get laid off and have to become stay-at-home dads when they can t find jobs. This inspires them to open their own day-care center. Daddy Day Care is a 2003 American English-language Comedy Family film starring Eddie Murphy, Jeff Garlin, Steve Zahn, Regina King, Anjelica Huston, Kevin Nealon and Rick Nielsen. Columbia Pictures in association with Revolution Studios and Davis Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) John Davis, Wyck Godfrey and Matt Berenson. Daddy Day Care is written by Geoff Rodkey and directed by Steve Carr. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. Daddy Day Care was released on 9th May 2003 and takes a screen time of 92 minutes. Daddy Day Care was made on a budget of $60 million and at the box office it grossed only $18 million. Cinematography was done by Steven Poster and editing by Christopher Greenbury. The music was composed by David Newman.
