In 1985, when a vessel protesting nuclear testing is sunk in New Zealand, local police fight to prove it was a terrorist plot by their French allies. Bombshell is a 2016 American English-language Drama film featuring Narelle Ahrens, Xavier Audu, Damien Avery, Ella Becroft, Nathalie Boltt, Byron Coll and Nixon Bingley. Reframed Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Adam Haggiag, Katherine Drew and Alexandra Dean. Bombshell is written by John Banas and Alexandra Dean and it is directed by Riccardo Pellizzeri and Alexandra Dean. Zeitgeist Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Bombshell was released on 1st October 2016 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released and became successful at box office. Bombshell was made on a budget of $32 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $59 million. Cinematography was done by Buddy Squires and editing by Lindy Jankura, Penelope Falk and Alexandra Dean. The music was composed by Keegan Dewitt along with Jeremy Bullock.
