What Dreams May Come is a 1998 American English-language Drama Fantasy movie featuring Robin Williams, Cuba Gooding Jr., Annabella Sciorra, Max Von Sydow, Jessica Brooks Grant, Josh Paddock and Robyn Day. The movie is based on What Dreams May Come by Richard Matheson. Interscope Communications was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Stephen Deutsch and Barnet Bain. What Dreams May Come is written by Richard Matheson and Ronald Bass and it is directed by Vincent Ward. PolyGram Filmed Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. What Dreams May Come was released on 3rd December 1998 and takes a screen time of 113 minutes. What Dreams May Come was made on a budget of $85 million and at the box office it grossed only $55 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Ronald Bass. Cinematography was done by Eduardo Serra and editing by David Brenner. The music was composed by Michael Kamen. At the 1999 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Effects, Visual Effects.
