Wonder Man is a 1945 American English-language Comedy Fantasy movie featuring Danny Kaye, Virginia Mayo, Vera-ellen, Donald Woods, S.z. Sakall, Allen Jenkins and Mary Jane Woods. After being murdered by gangsters, an exuberant nightclub entertainer returns as a ghost to persuade his meek twin brother to help bring his killers to justice. Samuel Goldwyn Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Samuel Goldwyn. Wonder Man is written by Don Hartman, Melville Shavelson, Philip Rapp, Jack Jevne, Eddie Moran and Arthur Sheekman and it is directed by H. Bruce Humberstone. RKO Radio Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. The motion picture has a running time of 98 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Wonder Man was made on a budget of $1 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jack Jevne and Eddie Moran. Cinematography was done by Victor Milner and William E. Snyder and editing by Daniel Mandell. The music was composed by Ray Heindorf along with Heinz Roemheld. At the 1946 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Effects, Special Effects.
