TriStar Pictures in association with Gracie Films and Vinyl Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Cameron Crowe, James L. Brooks, Richard Sakai and Laurence Mark. The motion picture is written and directed by Cameron Crowe. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. Jerry Maguire was released on 27th March 1997 and takes a screen time of 139 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Jerry Maguire was made on a budget of $50 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $273 million. Cinematography was done by Janusz Kami ski and editing by Joe Hutshing. The music was composed by Nancy Wilson. At the 1997 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Cuba Gooding Jr).
