A young girl accuses a Chief Minister of rape and faces obstacles from the police and media, but remains determined to seek justice with the support of her lawyer, a reporter, womens rights organizations, and opposition party members, leading to increased pressure on the Chief Minister and an anticipated meeting between him and the girl in her village. Wake Up India is written by Rajeev Giri and directed by Babloo Seshadri. Wake Up India was released on 23rd October 2013 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. Wake Up India was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹6 lakh. Cinematography was done by R.R. Prince and editing by Babloo Seshadri.
