Half Widow is a poignant film depicting the struggles of a young woman named Neela, who faces the challenges of being a half-widow in a society that is not accepting of her, shedding light on the issues of conflict in Kashmir. Pareeksha is a 2020 Indian Hindi-language Drama motion picture starring Prem Nazir, Sharada, Adoor Bhasi, Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair, Sanjay Suri, Anant Kumar Gupta and Adil Hussain. The movie is based on Pareeksha the play written by T. N. Gopinathan Nair. Rani Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sanjay Suri, Prakash Jha and N. Vasu Menon. Pareeksha is written by Prakash Jha and directed by Prakash Jha and P. Bhaskaran. Rani Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Pareeksha was released on 6th August 2020. The screenplay for the movie was written by T. N. Gopinathan Nair. Cinematography was done by E. N. Balakrishnan and editing by K. Narayanan and K. Sankunni. The music was composed by M. S. Baburaj.
