Le Lotta

Le Lotta is the not a story, but a journey of friends and their friendship. The plot revolves around teenagers studying in a public school. Jigar, the protagonist, a happy-go-lucky character and a free spirit, is a movie buff and treats his life as some scene of a movie. He mimics film personalities and his wit is an integral part of his attitude towards life. Soumya(15), a meritorious and talented Bengali boy with a humble background is the best friend of Jigar. Though Jigar gets very irritating sometimes, Soumya tackles him with perfection. Their friendship takes a turn when Shaurya, the son of an influential leader, joins them. Classroom pranks, the sarcasm of bullying and the dialect in 'Desi' accent strengthen their friendship. There is a another aspect of Jigar's life, the despicable one, which unveils all instances of sentiment when the high spirited Jigar is actually deeply afflicted. There is a conspiracy being hatched to sabotage the already devastated world of Jigar. The parallel plot features Motka and Budhwa, die hard fan of cricket and wannabe, who sell coal through illegal mining for their living. While on business, they are partners and after it's over, they are best friends. The movie contrasts the lives of both the sections and their day to day life struggle; be it school, home or coal mines. Both groups meet for a cricket match and friendship takes a whole new dimension. Le Lotta is a 2017 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film featuring Kalabhavan Mani and Meera Nandan. Rubans Media International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Antony Paimpalli. The film is written and directed by Anil K. Nair. Rubans Media International acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Le Lotta was released on 24th March 2017. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹0 lakh. Cinematography was done by Rajaratnam and editing by K. Sreenivas. The music was composed by Sharreth.
