Nota is written by Ananda Shankar and Shan Karuppusamy and it is directed by Ananda Shankar and Anand Shankar. Freeze Frame Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Nota was released on 5th October 2018 and takes a screen time of 153 minutes. Nota was made on a budget of ₹25 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹13 crore. Cinematography was done by Santhana Krishnan Ravichandran and editing by Raymond Derrick Crasta. The music was composed by Sam C. S.
