Bandook is a film that explores the societal impact of owning firearms in lawless regions of India, following Bhola Kevats rise in political influence through criminal activities but leaving his personal life in turmoil. Bandook is a 2013 Indian Hindi-language Crime Thriller motion picture featuring Aditya Om, Manisha Kelkar, Arshad Khan, Ashish Kotwal, Gauri Shankar and Gauri S. Singh. Bad Angels Productions in association with A 5678 Productions and Disney Channel Original Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Modern Cinema and Punchtantra Motion Pictures. Bandook is written by Nikhil Kamath, Lavan-veeral and Aditya Om and it is directed by Aditya Om. Disney ABC Domestic Television acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Bandook was released on 18th January 2013. Bandook was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹15 lakh. Cinematography was done by P. Amar Kumar, Siddharth Kay and Devashish Sarkaar and editing by Nilesh Gavand. The music was composed by Nikhil Kamath along with Lavan and Veeral.
