After Venky and his friends pass a police test but threaten to murder a fellow passenger and their father, they go undercover at the police academy to avoid being caught and uncover the chiefs responsibility for the murders. Venky is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language Mystery Romance film featuring Ravi Teja, Ashutosh Rana, Sneha Prasanna, Apoorva, Krishna Bhagavan, Tanikella Bharani and Kaushal. Lakshmi Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Atluri Purnachandra Rao. Venky is written by Sreenu Vaitla, Gopimohan, Kona Venkat and Srinu Vaitla and it is directed by Sreenu Vaitla, Gopimohan and Srinu Vaitla. Lakshmi Productions acquired the distribution rights for the film. Venky was released on 26th March 2004 and takes a screen time of 170 minutes. Venky was made on a budget of ₹8 crore. Cinematography was done by Prasad Murella and editing by Marthand K. Venkatesh. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
