Two New Yorkers, Donald and Sonny, have their lives unexpectedly intertwined when Donald loses his job, meets Sonny at the unemployment office, survives a diner robbery, and ultimately saves Sonny and his daughter from a robber, leading to a change in Donalds perspective on life and his obsession with survivalism before a final showdown with the robber. The Survivors is a 1983 American English-language Comedy Crime movie starring Walter Matthau, Robin Williams, Jerry Reed, Kristen Vigard, James Wainwright, Annie Mcenroe and Mark Robert Sutton. The Survivors was Produced by William Sackheim. The Survivors is written by Michael Leeson and Jonathan Reynolds and it is directed by Michael Ritchie. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Survivors was released on 22nd June 1983 and takes a screen time of 102 minutes. The Survivors was made on a budget of $15 million and at the box office it grossed only $14 million. Cinematography was done by Billy Williams and editing by Richard A. Harris. The music was composed by Paul Chihara.
