A lost chameleon named Rango becomes the sheriff of a town called Dirt, helps a gang of robbers unknowingly steal the water supply, and eventually saves the town and its water from the manipulative Mayor. Rango is a 2011 American English-language Animation Adventure movie featuring Johnny Depp, Isla Fisher, Abigail Breslin, Ned Beatty, Alfred Molina, Bill Nighy and Sebastian Cavazza. Paramount Pictures in association with Nickelodeon Movies, Blind Wink Productions, GK Films and Industrial Light & Magic. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gore Verbinski, Graham King and John B. Carls. Rango is written by John Logan, Gore Verbinski and James Ward Byrkit and it is directed by Gore Verbinski. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Rango was released on 20th April 2011 and takes a screen time of 107 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Rango was made on a budget of $135 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $245 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by John Logan. Cinematography was done by Roger Deakins and editing by Craig Wood. The music was composed by Hans Zimmer. At the 2012 Oscar Awards It won an award for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year.
