Daniel and Andrea grew up in the same home and have been closer than real brothers and sisters ever since.. The Promise is a 2007 Tagalog-language Drama Romance motion picture featuring Richard Gutierrez, Angel Locsin, Tj Trinidad, Rhian Ramos, Joel Torre, Ryan Eigenmann and Eloisa Torresyap. The movie is inspired from Hihintayin Kita sa Langit by Carlos Siguion Reyna Wuthering Heights by Emily Bront. The Promise was Produced by Lily Y. Monteverde and Annette Gozon-abrogar. The Promise is written by Emily Brontë, Raquel Villavicencio and Raquel N. Villavicencio and it is directed by Michael Tuviera and Mike Tuviera. Regal Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Promise was released on 14th February 2007 in Filipino and English languages and takes a screen time of 113 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of ₱60 million. Cinematography was done by Marissa Floirendo and editing by Jay Halili and John David Hukom. The music was composed by Arnold Buena along with Allan Feliciano.
