The Lookout is a 2007 English-language Crime Drama motion picture starring Joseph Gordon-levitt, Jeff Daniels, Matthew Goode, Isla Fisher, Bruce Mcgill, Carla Gugino and Shailee Ferguson. Chris is a once promising high school athlete whose life is turned upside down following a tragic accident. As he tries to maintain a normal life, he takes a job as a janitor at a bank, where he ultimately finds himself caught up in a planned heist. Spyglass Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Walter Parkes, Laurence Mark, Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum. The film is written and directed by Scott Frank. Miramax Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The film has a running time of 98 minutes. The Lookout was made on a budget of $16 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. Cinematography was done by Alar Kivilo and editing by Jill Savitt. The music was composed by James Newton Howard.
