After Lauras suicide, her estranged husband Richard plans to marry Grace, who survived a mass suicide in a cult, and during their Christmas in a remote lodge, the couples children become hostile towards Grace, leading to strange occurrences and Graces deteriorating mental state, ultimately resulting in a breakdown where she kills Richard and holds the children captive. The Lodge was Produced by Aaron Ryder, Simon Oakes and Aliza James. The Lodge is written by Sergio Casci, Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala and it is directed by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala. Neon acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Lodge was released on 16th January 2020 and takes a screen time of 108 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $3 million. Cinematography was done by Thimios Bakatakis and editing by Michael Palm. The music was composed by Saunder Jurriaans along with Danny Bensi.
