An intellectual billionaire and two lesser men struggle to band together and survive after getting stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with a blood-thirsty Kodiak Bear hunting them down. The Edge is a 1997 English-language Action Adventure movie featuring Anthony Hopkins, Alec Baldwin, Elle Macpherson, Harold Perrineau, Bart The Bear, L.q. Jones and Brian Steele. Art Linson Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Art Linson. The Edge is written by David Mamet and directed by Lee Tamahori. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Edge was released on 19th February 1998 and takes a screen time of 117 minutes. The Edge was made on a budget of $30 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Donald McAlpine and editing by Neil Travis. The music was composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
