A chemist seeks revenge on his employers by distributing an aftershave lotion that attracts trained bats to kill his enemies, but a reporter uncovers the truth and uses the same lotion to kill the chemist. The Devil Bat is a 1940 American English-language Horror Sci-Fi movie starring Bela Lugosi, Suzanne Kaaren, Dave O brien, Guy Usher, Yolande Donlan, Donald Kerr and Wally Rairden. The movie is inspired from original story by George Bricker. Producers Releasing Corporation was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jack Gallagher. The Devil Bat is written by John Thomas Neville and directed by Jean Yarborough. Producers Releasing Corporation acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Devil Bat was released on 13th December 1940 and takes a screen time of 68 minutes. Cinematography was done by Arthur Martinelli and A.S.C. and editing by Holbrook N. Todd. The music was composed by David Chudnow.
