The Cave

During the Cold War, a group of excavators discovers a mysterious cave system in the Carpathian Mountains, leading to a present-day teams exploration that uncovers deadly creatures and a parasite that mutates organisms, resulting in several deaths and the revelation of one survivor being infected. The Cave is a 2005 American English-language Adventure Horror movie featuring Cole Hauser, Morris Chestnut, Eddie Cibrian, Rick Ravanello, Marcel Iure, Lena Headey and Brian Steele. Lakeshore Entertainment in association with Cinerenta. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Richard S. Wright, Andrew Mason, Tom Rosenberg and Gary Lucchesi. The Cave is written by Michael Steinberg and Tegan West and it is directed by Bruce Hunt. Screen Gems acquired the distribution rights for the film. The Cave was released on 8th September 2005 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. The Cave was made on a budget of $30 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Ross Emery and editing by Brian Berden. The music was composed by Johnny Klimek along with Reinhold Heil.
