MNIT was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dakxin Bajrange Chhara, Manish Patel, Bankim Tamychi, Viren Ghamande and . Sameer is written by Neeraj Pandey and Karan Vyas and it is directed by Dakxin Bajrange Chhara. Platoon One Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Sameer was released on 8th September 2017 and takes a screen time of 131 minutes. The film made a box office gross of ₹9 lakh. Cinematography was done by Gargey Trivedi and editing by Aashish Mayur Shah. The music was composed by Pankaj Awasthy.
