In 1993, Mumbai faced bombings and investigator Kabir Shroff solved them, but the mastermind and his accomplice remained at large, leading to a reign of terror continued by the masterminds son, until DCP Veer Sooryavanshi apprehended him and uncovered a missing cache of explosives, ultimately teaming up with two other cops to prevent a major attack on Mumbai. Sooryavamsi is a 2021 Indian Tamil-language movie starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Jackie Shroff, Radhika Pandit and Yash. Sooryavamsi was Produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Rohit Shetty. Sooryavamsi is written by Mahesh Rao and directed by Mahesh Rao and Rohit Shetty. Reliance Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. Sooryavamsi was released on 5th November 2021 and takes a screen time of 145 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Sooryavamsi was made on a budget of ₹160 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹294 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Yunus Sajawal. Cinematography was done by Jomon T. John and editing by Bunty Nagi. The music was composed by Amar Mohile along with Tanishk Bagchi, Lijo George Dj Chetas, Jam8 and Usha Khanna.
