Kisaan

A widowed farmers family faces exploitation by wealthy landowners, leading to a conflict with a businessman who tries to buy their farm, resulting in imprisonment, tragedy, and eventual unity to rebuild the familys farm. Kisaan is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime film starring Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan, Sohail Khan, Dia Mirza, Nauheed Cyrusi, Sharat Saxena and Malkeet Rauni. Kisaan was Produced by Sohail Khan and Ronnie Screwvala. Kisaan is written by S.r. Bharti, Salim Bijnori, Vekeana Dhillon, Panchhi Jalonvi, Kanwar Juneja, Sohail Khan, Anmol Malik and Dilip Shukla and it is directed by Puneet Sira. UTV Spotboy acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kisaan was released on 20th March 2009 and takes a screen time of 100 minutes. Kisaan was made on a budget of ₹15 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹1 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Vekeana Dhillon and Sohail Khan. Cinematography was done by Neelabh Kaul and editing by Chirag Jain. The music was composed by Daboo Malik along with Sanjoy Chowdhury.
