A young woman named Mira seeks refuge in Mumbai from her abusive step-mother, but gets unwittingly involved in a dangerous prostitution racket; Constable Ram, who is already married, falls in love with Mira and hides his marital status, using his twin brother, Anand, but when Mira discovers the truth and decides to end their relationship, she finds out she is pregnant with Rams child, and her father arrives in Mumbai in search of her, leading Anand to selflessly step in and agree to marry Mira to rectify his brothers wrongs.
