A man in a superstitious village is manipulated by a political party into believing his dream of being with his true love can come true, only to eventually realize that the politicians are using him for their own benefit, leading to his heartbreak and accepting the harsh reality. Baba Lagin is a 2007 Marathi-language Comedy motion picture starring Robert Pattinson, Dane Dehaan, Joel Edgerton, Alessandra Mastronardi, Stella Schnabel, Ben Kingsley and Madhukar Pathak. Baba Lagin was Produced by Iain Canning, Christina Piovesan, Emile Sherman, Benito Mueller and Wolfgang Mueller. The movie is directed by Anton Corbijn.
