Sally falls in love with a travelling musician named Steve, but he leaves her heartbroken and pregnant, leading her to take drastic measures to make amends. Not Wanted is a 1949 American English-language Drama motion picture featuring Sally Forrest, Keefe Brasselle, Leo Penn, Dorothy Adams, Wheaton Chambers, Rita Lupino and Robert Williams. Emerald Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anson Bond and Ida Lupino. Not Wanted is written by Paul Jarrico, Ida Lupino and Malvin Wald and it is directed by Elmer Clifton and Ida Lupino. Film Classics acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Not Wanted was released on 24th June 1949 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. Cinematography was done by Henry Freulich and editing by William H. Ziegler. The music was composed by Leith Stevens.
