A marriage broker unwittingly arranges his daughters wedding to the son of a corrupt politician involved in human organ trafficking, leading to a chaotic and comedic situation involving vengeful ghosts seeking justice. Mayajalam was Produced by Sri Sakthi Productions. Mayajalam is written by Sibi Thomas, Udaykrishnan and S.v. Krishna Reddy and it is directed by S.v. Krishna Reddy and Balu Kiriyath. Ganga acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Mayajalam was released on 12th May 2006. The screenplay for the movie was written by Udaykrishnan and Siby K. Thomas. Cinematography was done by Raju Krishna and editing by K Rajagopal. The music was composed by S. P. Venkatesh.
