Annavaram

Annavaram helps his sister find a husband in a rural village before moving to the city to take down the local mafia dons. Annavaram is a 2006 Indian Telugu-language Action Drama film featuring Pawan Kalyan, Sandhya, Asin Thottumkal, Arun Lal, Venu Madhav, Nagendra Babu and Dayanand Reddy. The movie is inspired from Thirupaachi. Megaa Super Good Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Paras Jain, N. V. Prasad and R. B. Choudary. Annavaram is written by Srinivasa Rao Bhimaneni, Perarasu and Abburi Ravi and it is directed by Srinivasa Rao Bhimaneni, Gridhar and Sippy. Dil Raju acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Annavaram was released on 29th December 2006 and takes a screen time of 174 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Annavaram was made on a budget of ₹16 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹23 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao. Cinematography was done by Sethu Sriram and editing by Gautham Raju. The music was composed by Dhina along with Ramana Gogula. At the 2007 South Filmfare Awards It won an award for Best Supporting Actress (Sandhya).
