Liyang Film in association with JK Film. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lee Han-seung and Yoon Je-kyoon. Joahaejwo is written by Yoo Young-ah and directed by Park Hyun-jin. CJ Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Joahaejwo was released on 17th February 2016 and takes a screen time of 120 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $5 million. Cinematography was done by Shin Tae-ho and editing by Kim Sang-bum and Kim Jae-bum. The music was composed by Kim Hong-jib along with Lee Jin-hee.
