Lingusamy, Chandrahasan and N. Subash Chandrabose. Uttama Villain is written by Kamal Haasan and directed by Ramesh Aravind. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the film. Uttama Villain was released on 18th February 2022 and takes a screen time of 171 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹68 crore. Cinematography was done by Shamdat Sainudeen and editing by Vijay Shankar. The music was composed by M Ghibran.
