Two detectives in the Hollywood Division of LAPD investigate the murders of a rap group while dealing with personal issues and trying to avoid being framed by Internal Affairs. Columbia Pictures in association with Revolution Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lou Pitt and Ron Shelton. Gomatha Vratham is written by Robert Souza and Ron Shelton and it is directed by Ron Shelton. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. Gomatha Vratham was released on 1st January 1992 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. Gomatha Vratham was made on a budget of $75 million and at the box office it grossed only $51 million. Cinematography was done by Barry Peterson and editing by Paul Seydor. The music was composed by Alex Wurman.
