A mouthy and feisty taxicab driver has hot tips for a green and inept cop set on solving a string of New York City bank robberies committed by a quartet of female Brazilian bank robbers. Taxi is a 2004 English-language Action Comedy motion picture starring Queen Latifah, Jimmy Fallon, Gisele B Ndchen, Jennifer Esposito, Ann-margret, Henry Simmons and John Eric Brown. The movie is inspired from Taxi by Luc Besson. Taxi was Produced by Luc Besson. Taxi is written by Luc Besson, Robert Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon and Jim Kouf and it is directed by Tim Story. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Taxi was released on 11th November 2004 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. Taxi was made on a budget of $25 million and at the box office it grossed only $3 million.
