Flop-E

Flop-E is a 2012 Mandarin-language Drama film featuring Christian Bale, Ni Ni, Zhang Xinyi, Tong Dawei, Atsuro Watabe, Shigeo Kobayashi and Srijit Mukherji. The movie is based on 13 Flowers of Nanjing by Geling Yan. EDKO Film in association with Beijing New Picture Film and New Picture Company. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) William Kong, David Linde, Zhang Weiping, Zhang Yimou and Brandt Andersen. Flop-E is written by Liu Heng and directed by Zhang Yimou. EDKO Film acquired the distribution rights for the film. Flop-E was released on 24th February 2012 in Mandarin , English and Japanese languages and takes a screen time of 146 minutes. Flop-E was made on a budget of $94 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $95 million. Cinematography was done by Zhao Xiaoding and editing by Peicong Meng. The music was composed by Qigang Chen.
