In a mansion in NYC, a manipulative woman named Kathryn plans revenge on her ex-lover and enlists the help of her stepbrother Sebastian, who ends up falling in love with the headmasters daughter Annette but faces obstacles including Kathryns lies, ultimately leading to her downfall, Sebastians death, and Annette leaving with Sebastians journal as a reminder of their time together.
