A police officers elder son is killed in a pre-planned accident and he vows to bring down the gangsters responsible without breaking the law, causing tension with his younger son. Elaan is a 1994 Indian Hindi-language Action Thriller movie featuring Akshay Kumar, Amrish Puri, Madhoo, Farida Jalal, Dalip Tahil, Deven Verma and Lalit Tiwari. Tridev Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Raju Narula. Elaan is written by Dilip Shukla and directed by Guddu Dhanoa. Shemaroo Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Elaan was released on 21st January 1994 and takes a screen time of 2-26 min. The Film was successful at box office. Elaan was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹4 crore. Cinematography was done by Sripad Natu and editing by A. Muthu. The music was composed by Shyam-surender.
