A psychiatrist faces his past, present and future when he finds himself involved in the treatment of a young man recently released from prison for a murder committed when the boy was just 11 years old. The Drowning is a 2017 English-language Drama Thriller movie starring Josh Charles, Julia Stiles, Avan Jogia, Laura Tremblay, Alys Crocker, Pardeep Bassi and Tom Reidel. The movie is based on Border Crossing by Pat Barker. The Film Community was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Jamin O brien, Daniel L. Blanc and Radium Cheung. The Drowning is written by Stephen Molton, Frank Pugliese, Pat Barker and Pasquale Marco Veltri and it is directed by Bette Gordon and Pasquale Marco Veltri. Paladin acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Drowning was released on 10th May 2017 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Stephen Molton and Frank Pugliese. Cinematography was done by Radium Cheung and editing by John David Allen. The music was composed by Anton Sanko.
