A surgeon named Juliet rents an apartment from a man named Max in New York City, unaware that he is stalking and observing her, leading to a complicated romantic relationship and ultimately a dangerous situation where Juliet fights for her life and escapes after discovering shocking secrets about Max. The Resident is a 2011 English-language Drama Thriller motion picture starring Hilary Swank, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Lee Pace, Aunjanue Ellis, Christopher Lee, Sean Rosales and Sean A. Rosales. Hammer Films in association with Exclusive Media Group. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Simon Oakes, Cary Brokaw, Guy East and Nigel Sinclair. The Resident is written by Antti Jokinen, Robert Orr and Erin Cressida Wilson and it is directed by Antti Jokinen. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. The Resident was released on 28th April 2011 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. The Resident was made on a budget of $20 million and at the box office it grossed only $6 million. Cinematography was done by Guillermo Navarro and editing by Bob Murawski and Stuart Levy. The music was composed by John Ottman.
