Four friends face challenges, get framed for murder, and find hidden treasure, but instead of keeping it, they donate it to an orphanage in this movie. Dhamaal is a 2007 Indian Hindi-language Adventure Comedy film starring Sanjay Dutt, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chaudhary, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjay Mishra and Ashok Beniwal. Maruti International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Indra Kumar and Ashok Thakeria. Dhamaal is written by Tushar Hiranandani, Paritosh Painter, Balvinder Singh Suri and Bunty Rathore and it is directed by Indra Kumar. BIG Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Dhamaal was released on 7th September 2007 and takes a screen time of 137 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Dhamaal was made on a budget of ₹19 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹32 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Paritosh Painter and Balwinder Singh Suri. Cinematography was done by Vijay Arora and editing by Sanjay Sankla. The music was composed by Adnan Sami along with Sanjoy Chowdhury.
