Destroyer follows the moral and existential odyssey of LAPD detective Erin Bell who, as a young cop, was placed undercover with a gang in the California desert with tragic results. When the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she must work her way back through the remaining members and into her own history with them to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her past. Written by Annapurna Pictures Destroyer is a 2018 American English-language Action Crime movie starring Nicole Kidman, Sebastian Stan, Toby Kebbell, Tatiana Maslany, Bradley Whitford, Jade Pettyjohn and Peter Mark Vasquez. 30West in association with Automatik Entertainment and Annapurna Pictures. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Phil Hay, Matt Manfredi and Fred Berger. Destroyer is written by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi and it is directed by Karyn Kusama. Annapurna Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Destroyer was released on 25th December 2018 and takes a screen time of 123 minutes. Destroyer was made on a budget of $9 million and at the box office it grossed only $5 million. Cinematography was done by Julie Kirkwood and editing by Plummy Tucker. The music was composed by Theodore Shapiro.
