In the near future, Hanka Robotics develops an artificial body called a shell which can integrate a human brain and after a cyberterrorist attack leaves her body beyond repair, Mira Killian becomes a counter-terrorism operative in Section 9, where she uncovers an unknown entity and discovers that her memories are implanted, leading her to confront Cutter and regain her true identity. Ghost in the Shell is a 2017 American English-language Action Crime film starring Scarlett Johansson, Takeshi Kitano, Michael Pitt, Pilou Asb K, Chin Han, Juliette Binoche and Candy Knutzen. The movie is based on Ghost in the Shell by Masamune Shirow. Ghost in the Shell was Produced by Avi Arad, Michael Costigan and Steven Paul. Ghost in the Shell is written by Jonathan Herman and William Wheeler and it is directed by Rupert Sanders. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Ghost in the Shell was released on 30th March 2017 and takes a screen time of 107 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Ghost in the Shell was made on a budget of $110 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $169 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Jamie Moss, William Wheeler and Ehren Kruger. Cinematography was done by Jess Hall and editing by Neil Smith and Billy Rich. The music was composed by Clint Mansell along with Lorne Balfe.
