Pazhagiya Naatkal depicts the struggle of a mentally disabled man who raises his daughter with the help of his friends, and later faces a legal battle for custody. Deivathirumagal is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language Drama Family motion picture featuring Vikram, Sara Arjun, Anushka Shetty, Amala Paul, Nassar, Nasser and Gadam Kishan. The movie is based on I Am Sam by Kristine Johnson and Jessie Nelson. Sree Rajakaliamman Medias was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) M. Chinthamani and Ronnie Screwvala. The motion picture is written and directed by Al Vijay and A. L. Vijay. UTV Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Deivathirumagal was released on 15th July 2011 and takes a screen time of 166 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Deivathirumagal was made on a budget of ₹20 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹65 crore. Cinematography was done by Nirav Shah and editing by Anthony. The music was composed by Gv Prakash Kumar along with G. V. Prakash Kumar.
