A Starbucks barista with an intellectual disability becomes a single father to his daughter Lucy, with the support of his friends and neighbor, while facing custody challenges and bullying, leading to an emotional trial where he eventually regains custody and receives help from a friend to raise Lucy, with the final scene showing them playing soccer together with the presence of Rita and her son.
