Deewaanapan

Two young adults fall in love in a hill station in India, but face obstacles and threats from the girls disapproving and powerful father when they try to pursue their relationship after the boys family moves to Mumbai. Deewaanapan is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language Action Romance motion picture featuring Arjun Rampal, Dia Mirza, Vinod Khanna, Om Puri, Smita Jaykar, Somesh Agarwal and Kabir Sadana. Pooja Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vashu Bhagnani. Deewaanapan is written by Rajesh Singh and Ashu Trikha and it is directed by Ashu Trikha. Pooja Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Deewaanapan was released on 16th November 2001 and takes a screen time of 157 minutes. Deewaanapan was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹5 crore. Cinematography was done by Samir Chanda and editing by Steven Bernard. The music was composed by Aadesh Shrivastava along with Sameer.
